The key word for us is "relaxed"...
...country but quirky, rustic but not dull, stylish and comfortable, a blend of old and new - outside, brought inside. Furniture that has a story to tell, that has lived alongside generations of families - not having to worry about children, grandchildren and boisterous pets. A spilled bottle of wine at a dinner party, or a grandchild knocking into the furniture with a pedal car doesn't become a disaster!
I once read an article that described a house as "ravishingly rustic", and I loved that idea.
After many years having a shop and an architectural business, we now work from home, free from the constraints of a " 9 until 5 " business. We exhibit at a few lovely fairs and source items for customers, architects and designers.
