When Julian and I met, over 25 years ago, he was dealing in vintage American cars, and I had just started my antiques business selling mainly antique pine and painted country furniture. It was the time of Jocasta Innes and Anne Sloan, and the peak of the late '80's fashion for painted furniture. It proved to be a great success.
Julian and I joined forces and combined our disparate tastes - his for Americana and cars, juke boxes and all things '50' s and '60's, and my love of country, rustic style items.
